General Shipping Policies and
Information
Shipping Process
When your order is recieved, it is thoroughly reviewed to
make sure that the order is accurate and that your payment method is
valid. Please refer to the "Payment" portion of our help area. Credit
card verification can take upto 3 business days, but generally takes
1-2.
Please note that orders placed after 12:30 PM Eastern Standard/Daylight
time Monday through Thursday will not be processed until after 8:30 AM
the next business day. Orders placed after 12:30 PM Eastern Standard/
Daylight time on Fridays will not be processed until after 8:30 AM on Mondays.
Your order is then sent to our shipping department, who will route the
order to one of our warehouses for order fulfillment. We reserve the
right to choose the best location for any single item, or for the
entire order.
At the time your order is shipped (or shortly thereafter), you will
receive an email to the address you provided upon placing your order.
This e-mail will include tracking information. If you have not received
an e-mail within 72 hours from 'Columbia Jobbing Shipping Notification'
or one of our agents concerning your order, please contact our
our shipping department at 1-800-818-0897. You may also contact an agent
at that number if you desire more information regarding your order.
Time
of Shipment
ColumbiaJobbing.com defines time of shipment as "the point in
time when your order begins to ship", especially with regard to orders
containing multiple components that must ship separately. For example,
if your order consists of more than one item, multiples of the same
item, or single items that are shipped in more than one package (cotton
candy machines, for example), we will do our best to ensure that all
items are shipped at the same time. In the rare instances where that is
not possible, we ship items from your order that are immediately available,
and we will notify you that your order has begun to ship. By ordering from
ColumbiaJobbing.com, you agree that your credit/debit card will be
charged the full amount of the order, as soon as the items are
earmarked for delivery.

How are my shipping charges calculated?
A: Shipping charges are based on point of origin, destination, shipping
method, weight, and include applicable fees (fuel surcharge, shipping

Can my order ship using an LTL carrier?
A: Columbiajobbing.com is committed to providing the most economical
shipping method possible for your order. If you are planning to order
several bulky or large items it may be more cost effective to ship these
items using an LTL Freight line. Please call our shipping department at
1-800-818-0897 prior to placing your order to receive a quote on an LTL
shipment.
Q:
Do you ship to Armed Forces Post Office Boxes?
A: It is our pleasure to ship items to Armed Forces Post Office Boxes. Please
keep in mind however that the United States Postal Service has strict
rules governing what can and can not be shipped to APO/FPO addresses. In
most instances we are not able to ship any individual items over 50 pounds,
we are also unable to ship any equipment to an APO/FPO address. Orders
shipped to APO/FPO addresses do not have any sort of time of delivery
gurantee and generally take slightly longer to process due to the customs
paperwork commonly associated with these types of orders. If you would like
more information on having supplies shipped to an APO/FPO address please
contact our internet sales department at 1-800-818-0897.

Do you ship internationally?
A: We do ship internationally. If you are outside of the continential United
States (excluding Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico) and you are placing
an order, please contact our international shipping department at 1-800-
818-0897.
Q:
How long can I expect it to take to receive my order?
A: We ship using DHL Express, UPS and FedEx ground. In some instances
your shipment can take as many as 10 business days to arrive. Express
shipments take between 2 and 4 business days to arrive depending on your
location. Shipments made via a LTL Truckline are usually comparable.
You should also allow 1-2 business days for processing on most orders,
though we will do our best to get the order shipped either the same day
or the next business day.
Q:
I am a local resident. Can I pick up my order at your location?
A: Our online ordering process is highly automated, which allows us to
reduce prices and pass the savings on to you. While our Tampa location
is open to the public, please bear in mind that at this time we cannot
offer the same savings on every item at our public showroom. If you
give our internet sales department a call at 1-800-818-0897, we'll be
more than happy to give you our local prices. Otherwise, to take advantage
of the pricing on this website all orders must be shipped to your location and
you will be responsible to pay applicable shipping and handling charges.
